~ Befriend - in order to help the homeless individual's situation, we get involved in their lives and are ready when they have made a decision to change their circumstance.
~ Evaluate - Not all homeless situations are the same, so we must identify the specific need and direct to the help/resource they need.

~ Rehabilitate - the homeless individual will complete a rehabilitation program (and having a clear head) will be able to rejoin main steam society. Now the Potter's Work is able to offer a training program in the automobile industry, getting them them the job they need and break the cycle of homelessness .

~ Elevate - the cycle of homelessness needs to be broken. Often the homeless individual gets out of the hospital, a sobriety program or even jail and they go back to what they know and the people (so called friends) and are back to the same place and situation and the cycle continues.
