9:00 to 11:00AM (or longer as you are lead)

Anaheim Riverbed Out-Reach

At 9:00am we are going to reach-out to the 423 homeless individuals at 2020 Rampart in the city of Anaheim.  Right across the street from that address, next to the Anaheim Fire Training Station off of Orangewood Ave.  Next to the fire station there's a bike trail and some benches you can't miss it.  We will be passing out clothing, socks, jackets, sleeping bags, hygiene products, etc.

Many people who live in care centers struggle daily with loneliness.  They need friends who will help them find hope and peace in the Lord.  This is something any willing Christian can do.  If you desire to experience the joy of giving to people who will truly appreciate your time , hits workshop is for you.  Our workshop leader will be author and national speaker Chaplain Bill Goodrich of God Cares Ministry.

The Workshop Will Cover:

     1. The need and call to care home ministry.

     2. One to one visits to help our friends grow closer to Jesus.

     3. Preparing & sharing life-giving messages in a care home.

     4. Ministering to people who have Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

This workshop will also provide great helps and resources for any Christian desiring to minister to frail seniors.  (Stephen Minsters, Hospice, Church & family members, Visitation Ministers, caregivers, etc.)

Workshop Location:

St. Andrews Presbyterian Church

600 St. Andrews Road, Newport Beach, CA 92663
